What is OK Student and how can they help me?

OK Student is an academic counselling agency with over 14 years’ experience in helping students achieve their dream of studying abroad.

What is a student advisor?

A student advisor is a specialist consultant with experience in studying, living or working abroad that will help you, and accompany you throughout the whole application process.

Can I work while I study?

Yes! Working while studying is something rather common for international students. It’s a great way of being financially independent and gaining some work experience along the way.

Will OK Student find me a job?

No. OK Student guides you in the process of getting a job but it does not provide you with one.

Do I have guaranteed accommodation?

No. You will have to search and apply for your accommodation directly. We will, however, assist you during this process.

Will OK Student apply to student accommodations for me?

No, but we will guide you through the application process.

What are my accommodation options?

You can opt for the university’s accommodations or a private accommodation provider. Speak with your advisor to find out more about your options.

What is a student visa?

A visa is a document that allows you to study and live in a foreign country.

How do I know if I need to apply for a student visa?

It varies from country to country, talk to a student advisor to find out more information.

Does OK Student process visa applications?

We guide you through the process of applying for your visa but we do not do visa applications ourselves.

How much does living abroad cost?

Can I pay the university fees in instalments?

Most universities accept payments in instalments but there may be some instances where the student has to pay everything in one payment. To find out more about this, talk with your student advisor.

Are there any scholarships available?

Are there any deadlines for the applications?

Yes, there are deadlines. They vary depending on the destination country, university, and course. Talk to a student advisor to find out more about the different deadlines.

Can I apply to more than one university?

Yes, you can apply to multiple universities depending on the country you are applying to study in. Check with a student advisor to find out more.

Does OK Student help throughout the entire application process?

Yes, we are here to make sure your application is successful, so we help you navigate your journey and process your application from the moment you apply to the moment you enrol in a university.

Can I apply even though my English is not very good?

Yes, of course! There are courses planned for that specific situation. Talk to a student advisor and they will advise you on the best course of action to take.

My grades are lower than expected. What can I do?

Do not worry! Many courses have lower entry requirements. Talk to a student advisor and they will tell you which options are available to you.

I don’t know what course and university to apply to. Can you help?

In the early stages, it’s normal not to know for sure where you want to apply. Talk with a student advisor and they will help you find the perfect course and university for you.
