Tuition fees fully funded

Thanks to the “Free Fees” initiative, tuition fees at public universities in the Republic of Ireland are 100% free for EU students. Students only have to pay an annual administrative fee (maintenance fee) of around €3,000 to cover the university’s maintenance costs.

This initiative does not include master’s and doctoral courses. Annual tuition fees for these types of courses can range from €3,000 to €30,000.

Work while you study

All international students can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week during the holiday period (June - September).

Work after your studies

All EU students can continue to reside and work in the Republic of Ireland after completing their studies.
